Sur une table bris\u00e9e et d\u2019un marbre bleu\u00e2tre, des raisins, de petits morceaux de sucre, une tasse avec sa soucoupe de terre blanche ; sur le fond, une jatte pleine de p\u00eaches, une bouteille de ratafia, autour quelques prunes, une caraffe d\u2019eau ; autour, quelques prunes, des mies-de-pain, des poires, des p\u00eaches ; enfin, une bo\u00eete-\u00e0-caf\u00e9 de fer-blanc. Ces diff\u00e9rens objets ne vont point ensemble, et c\u2019est une faute que Chardin<\/em> ne commet pas. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\nOn retrouve assez ais\u00e9ment la toile d\u00e9crite, aujourd\u2019hui conserv\u00e9e au Norton Simeon Museum de Pasadena, en Californie :<\/p>\n\n\n
